Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling and Cancellations: Please notify us as soon as possible by email or text message to cancel any scheduled lessons. Lessons can be rescheduled for makeup if you notify at least 12 hours in advance of cancellation. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the lesson will be charged as if the lesson had occured. Consistent cancellations may result in the loss of preferred scheduling or discontinuation of lessons. Notifications for cancellations can be made via email, phone or text message. Payments and Scheduling: All lessons must be prepaid, whether purchased as a pack or monthly package, to reserve or schedule a class. We accept payments in person via credit card, tap pay or online on our website mir@marisabelres.com. Late payments may incur a fee or result in the suspension of lessons until payment is made. Scheduling for lessons must be approved by the teacher to confirm your booking. Class packages expire within 3 months of purchase date. Teacher Cancellations and Vacations: If the teacher has to cancel a lesson, a makeup lesson or credit will be provided. When the teacher is unavailable, you will be notified in advance. Makeup lessons will be offered as a credit in the student’s account or refunded for the weeks missed. Non-Renewal of Monthly Packages: The teacher will provide notice to the student/parent if they will not be renewing the following month’s package for any reason. To cancel a monthly package, you must send an email prior to the next billing date. Lesson Duration and Location: Lessons are available for 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions. Lessons can take place in the student’s home or online via Zoom. Specific requirements or policies apply to each setting. Student Expectations: Students are expected to be prepared, punctual, and respectful during lessons. Practice and preparation are essential for progress.
